We’re passionate about cycling. We love bikes. And we want to pass this passion on to our kids. That’s why, at VPACE, we’ve been developing the best performance bikes for children and teenagers since 2016. Bikes you can use to win races, go on adventures and discover the world.
How it all began
Doing what you feel like doing
Sören Zieher – a passionate cyclist, amateur racer and graphic designer – wanted to bring that fast, responsive road bike feel to off-road riding. In 2012, he designed the first 29er with a rigid fork and set about finding a carbon manufacturer in Asia. What began as a garage project in Cologne became, a few years later, a full-time business specialising in custom bikes made from titanium and carbon in his home town of Ravensburg.
In 2016, he adapted the 29er concept for children’s bikes – lightweight, ergonomic, and uncompromising in performance and quality. In doing so, VPACE revolutionised the premium children’s bike segment. Today, the brand is backed by a team of 15 specialists who handle the development, design, assembly and marketing of the bikes in Germany – with one goal: to build bikes that we would have always wanted as children and that inspire children to take up cycling as a sport.

A passion that unites us
We’re mad about bikes. We’re passionate about cycling and love being outdoors in nature. We love speed, the feeling of flow, freedom and adventure. Whether it’s mountain biking, road cycling, gravel biking or bikepacking. Preferably with like-minded people with whom we share our passion and experiences. With whom we compete, plan our next adventure and share the anticipation of it. For us, it’s more than just a way of getting around. It’s a way of life. We love bikes and we love cycling. We want to share this enthusiasm and passion with our kids. To inspire them. To set an example for them of the joy of being active and of cycling. We want to offer them the bike as a means of transport and a piece of sports equipment from an early age, thereby inspiring a love of nature and raising their awareness of the environment. We want to enable them to gain independence through cycling, to experience freedom and adventure, and to become part of a vibrant community. To encourage this, we develop the best performance bikes for children.

Our vision drives us, provides direction and helps us make the right decisions and take the right action. We develop more than just bikes and components. We create adventures and experiences, freedom and challenges. Through cycling, we get children and families active and promote community, health and environmental awareness in a sustainable way. In doing so, we aim to inspire and motivate as many children and families as possible to take up cycling. The way we interact, act and work together along this journey is shaped significantly by our corporate values. Passion is our driving force, fuelled by our sporting spirit, always daring to try new things whilst being creative in our approach. We believe in the power of community and that, together, we can develop more innovative solutions to meet our quality standards.
