On the one hand, you can really put our bikes through their paces at our Test Centre partners’ (link to Test Centre page) to really put them through their paces (and experience the VPACE ‘aha’ moment), or you can visit us directly at our showroom (link to Showroom page) in Horgenzell, where you can view all our kids’ bikes and even take them for a test ride.

Your bike will arrive in a box, fully pre-assembled, perfectly adjusted and ready to go. All you need to do is take the bike out of the box and carry out the following final assembly steps yourself:   

1. Straighten the handlebars 
2. Fit the front wheel 
3. Screw
   on the pedals
4. Adjust the saddle to the correct height

The right frame size depends primarily on height and inside leg measurement. To do this, measure your child’s height without shoes and determine their inside leg measurement 

 1. Measure height 

To measure height, have your child stand barefoot, upright with their back against a wall. Now place a book horizontally on their head and measure the distance from the floor to the bottom edge of the book. 

 2. Measure the inside leg measurement 

To determine the inseam, have your child stand barefoot, upright with their back against a wall, clamp a book between their legs and pull it upwards into their crotch with the top edge horizontal. Now measure the distance from the floor to the top edge of the book. The length measured is your child’s inseam. 

 3. Determining the right bike/frame size 

As well as height, inseam length also plays an important role in determining the right bike size/frame size. To ensure your child can ride safely, the inseam length should be at least equal to the standover height of the selected size.
