Matti
The fun MTB trail hardtail for children
Lightweight. Playful. Trail-hungry.
MATTI is MATZ’s playful little brother, designed for more fun and better performance on the trail and on descents. This trail hardtail mountain bike features a flatter head angle, 20 mm more suspension travel and a dropper seatpost, offering the perfect blend of control, agility and riding enjoyment. There are four model sizes to choose from for young trail riders, ranging from a height of 120 cm to 170 cm.
MATTI24 Children’s Trail Mountain Bike
Lightweight aluminium frame with trail geometry
Thanks to the cleverly designed set of 6061 aluminium tubes, the MATTI frame is extremely light, stiff and robust all at once. The geometry is sporty yet balanced, and with a slack head angle of 67°, it is specifically tailored to the needs of young trail riders: a short rear triangle makes the bike particularly agile and makes it easier to shift weight on technically demanding terrain. Combined with a shortened top tube and head tube, the bike’s handling is noticeably improved, thereby enhancing control and riding safety. A steep seat angle, combined with child-friendly cranks, supports ergonomic and efficient pedalling and helps conserve valuable energy.
Smooth-shifting gearbox with a wide gear ratio range
Whether riding steeply uphill or fast downhill – with SRAM’s high-quality gear system, young riders can change gears precisely, smoothly and reliably, whatever the terrain. Depending on the frame size, the bike is fitted with either a robust NX 11-speed drivetrain or a GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain. Thanks to the wide range of gear ratios, there’s always the right gear for every situation, ensuring the riding fun never falls by the wayside.
The MATTI is a Category 3 mountain bike and is therefore ideally suited to rough trails, unpaved paths and technically challenging terrain. Jumps and drops of up to 60 cm are no problem, provided you have the right riding technique. Whether it’s a leisurely ride or a quick lap on your local trail, the MATTI delivers on its promises.
High-performance suspension fork – Kids Tuned
These high-performance suspension forks offer maximum comfort and control off-road. Depending on the model size, they offer 80 to 120 mm of travel and are specially tuned to suit the lighter weight of young trail riders – Kids Tuned. This gives them a particularly responsive feel and ensures top performance on the trail.
A child-friendly crank. Powerful and clever.
We have specifically designed the lightweight VPACE SL children’s crankset to suit the anatomy of young riders with narrow hips. With a Q-factor of 150 mm, it allows for a natural leg position, resulting in greater efficiency when pedalling and noticeably better power transfer. Thanks to the 3-hole direct mount, changing the chainring is a matter of seconds. And because the crank length also has a major influence on power transfer and efficiency, we tailor it to the specific model size.
MORITZ – The lightweight trail and enduro full-suspension bike
Powerful on the descents, nimble on the climbs. This lightweight trail and mini-enduro full-suspension bike, with up to 140 mm of travel, is based on modern enduro geometry and impresses with outstanding handling on challenging trails. Designed for young trail shredders who love to open the throttle on the descents and prefer to pedal rather than push on the climbs.

Your bike will arrive in a box, fully pre-assembled, perfectly adjusted and ready to go. All you need to do is take the bike out of the box and carry out the following final assembly steps yourself:
- Adjust the handlebars to the correct position
- Fit the front wheel
- Adjust the saddle to the correct height
- Screw on the pedals
The right frame size depends primarily on height and inseam. To do this, measure your child’s height without shoes and determine their inseam (inside leg length)
1. Measure height
To determine height, have your child stand barefoot, upright with their back against a wall. Now place a book horizontally on their head and measure the distance from the floor to the bottom edge of the book.
2. Measure the inseam
To determine the inseam, have your child stand barefoot, upright with their back against a wall, clamp a book between their legs and pull it upwards into their crotch with the top edge horizontal. Now measure the distance from the floor to the top edge of the book. The length you’ve measured is your child’s inseam.
3. Determining the right bike size / frame size
As well as height, inseam length also plays an important role in determining the right bike size/frame size. To ensure your child can ride safely, their inseam length should be at least equal to the standover height of the selected size.
