Feather-light UD carbon frame with 100 mm of suspension travel
The frame, made from UD (unidirectional) carbon fibre with 100 mm of travel, is both feather-light and rigid, ensuring maximum forward momentum. The Race geometry is sporty yet balanced, similar to the Matz Carbon Hardtail, and specifically designed to meet the needs of young racers. Thanks to its agile head angle, the Race Fully glides effortlessly through bends, whilst the steep 75° seat angle ensures a central position on the bike – perfect for efficient climbing and precise handling when the descent gets rough and technically demanding.
Circuit with a wide bandwidth
When every second counts, precision is crucial. The SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed groupset on the FINN delivers lightning-fast, silky-smooth gear changes – even under full load. With its wide gear range, young cross-country riders are perfectly equipped for any situation – powerful on the start, efficient on the climbs and lightning-fast on the home straight.

Race-optimised cockpit
The lightweight VPACE SL carbon handlebars, combined with the lightweight aluminium stem, ensure safe and controlled bike handling on fast and technically demanding cross-country trails. Shifting is handled by a smooth-operating SRAM GX trigger lever, whilst braking is provided by the lightweight and reliable Magura MT4 disc brake. The 1-Finger HC aluminium brake levers can be perfectly adjusted to fit smaller children’s hands and offer precise control and maximum braking performance with minimal effort.
High-performance suspension fork – Kids Tuned
Lightweight, stiff, responsive. The high-performance Rock Shox SID SL suspension fork with 100 mm of travel responds sensitively to the light weight of young racers. As a result, it offers a response that is particularly well-suited to children and delivers top performance on the trail and in competition. The fork comes with a 3-position adjuster and can be locked out at the crown for longer uphill sections.

Kids' XC Race Performance Shock Absorber
We have tuned the fitted Rock Shox SidLuxe Select shock, with 100 mm of travel, to suit the lower body weight of young cross-country racers – Kids Tuned. It responds with exceptional sensitivity, offering efficient, finely controlled damping and progressive suspension, thereby ensuring outstanding traction, control and comfort on technical terrain as well as on fast descents and steep climbs. The Twistloc Remote efficiently locks out the shock with a single twist during uphill sections, ensuring no power is lost.
The 29er principle with lightweight wheels
With the VPACE 29er concept, we opt for the largest possible wheels across all frame sizes. Why does this make sense? Because large wheels roll more efficiently, offer a smoother ride and clear obstacles more easily. Combined with our exceptionally lightweight VPACE SL wheelsets featuring Duke Lucky Star Ultra rims, young racers benefit from significantly better acceleration, greater efficiency and increased safety on the trail and in races.

Intended use
The Finn is a Category 3 mountain bike and is therefore ideally suited to rough trails, unpaved paths and technically demanding terrain. Jumps and drops of up to 60 cm are no problem, provided you have the right riding technique. The FINN youth bike has been designed for a rider weight of up to 65 kg.
The perfect size
The chart shows a recommendation based on body height. However, depending on your riding style, body proportions or personal preferences, a smaller or larger model may also be suitable. Simple adjustments, such as a longer or shorter stem, a different seatpost or the position of the saddle, allow you to tailor the bike perfectly to your needs.
