The next evolutionary step in our legendary 29er hardtail – progressive, feather-light and uncompromisingly fast.
For over a decade, our C#M platform has been the first choice for racers seeking maximum performance. With the new C5M, our legendary 29er carbon frame enters its fifth generation. True to the successful motto ‘Progressive rather than Aggressive’, this frame combines the legacy of our ultra-light XC models with state-of-the-art geometry and full future-proofing.
At its heart lies a highly sophisticated carbon lay-up that reduces the frame weight to an absolute minimum whilst guaranteeing maximum stiffness in the bottom bracket and head tube areas. The C5M is the ultimate platform for suspension fork set-ups or uncompromising, lightning-fast rigid racers with a rigid fork. This extremely lightweight and efficient platform is all you need to build your very own XC dream bike.
The geometry has been consistently refined to meet the demands of modern cross-country and
marathon courses. A more progressive head angle
ensures outstanding stability and confidence on technical descents.
At the same time, the steeper seat angle and extended reach position the
place the rider in a central, forward-leaning position that translates every watt directly
into maximum acceleration.
In terms of construction, the C5M focuses on radical simplification and modern
system integration. The frame design is uncompromisingly optimised for modern 1x drivetrains
. The cable routing runs aerodynamically and is protected by the headset
for a flawlessly clean look. Thanks to the universal
UDH derailleur hanger, the frame is perfectly equipped for state-of-the-art gear-shifting technologies and
maximum future-proofing.

1. Measure height
To determine height, have your child stand barefoot, upright with their back against a wall. Now place a book horizontally on their head and measure the distance from the floor to the bottom edge of the book.
2. Measure the inseam
To determine the inseam, have your child stand barefoot, upright with their back against a wall, clamp a book between their legs and pull it upwards into their crotch with the top edge horizontal. Now measure the distance from the floor to the top edge of the book. The length you’ve measured is your child’s inseam.
3. Determining the right bike size / frame size
As well as height, inseam length also plays an important role in determining the right bike size/frame size. To ensure your child can ride safely, their inseam length should be at least equal to the standover height of the selected size.
