Trail-optimised cockpit
The lightweight handlebars from VPACE, combined with the 40 mm-long stem from Reverse, ensure safe and controlled handling in any riding situation. Gear changes are made using a smooth-shifting Sram NX Trigger shifter, whilst braking is handled by the reliable Magura MT4 disc brakes. The 1-finger HC aluminium brake levers can be perfectly adjusted to fit smaller children’s hands and offer precise control and maximum braking power with minimal effort.
Smooth-operating switch with a wide operating range
Whether riding steeply uphill or fast downhill – with the robust SRAM NX 11-speed rear derailleur, young riders can change gears precisely, smoothly and reliably, whatever the terrain. Thanks to the wide gear range of the 10–42 cassette, the right gear is always available in every situation, ensuring the riding fun never falls by the wayside.

Lightweight aluminium frame with a single-pivot rear suspension and enduro geometry
The lightweight Moritz frame, made from 6061 aluminium, has been specially developed for young riders: with tube dimensions suitable for children, low weight and a robust construction for full trail performance. The modern enduro geometry, with a slack head angle (65°) and short rear end, ensures agility and flow off-road, as well as maximum fun on the descents. Both the Moritz20 and Moritz24 feature a lightweight, low-maintenance single-pivot rear suspension system. Thanks to the special ‘Kids Tuned’ shock tuning and a cleverly positioned pivot point, the rear suspension system operates very sensitively, efficiently and without interfering with the drivetrain. This makes the Moritz perfectly suited to longer uphill rides as well.
A child-friendly crank. Powerful and clever.
We have specifically designed the lightweight VPACE SL children’s crankset to suit the anatomy of young cyclists with narrower hips. With a Q-factor of 150 mm, it allows for a natural leg position, resulting in greater efficiency when pedalling and noticeably better power transfer. Thanks to the 3-hole direct mount, changing the chainring is a matter of seconds. And because the crank length also has a major influence on power transfer and efficiency, we tailor it to the specific model size.

The right seat height at the touch of a button for greater safety and more fun on the slopes
With the Kind Shock Dropper seatpost, you can easily lower the saddle height as required using a remote lever on the handlebars, thereby improving safety on descents. Ideal for technical terrain featuring rocky sections, tight bends, steep drops and ledges.
High-performance kids’ suspension fork – Kids Tuned
The high-performance Manitou Junit Expert suspension fork offers maximum comfort and control off-road. Featuring 120 mm of travel, it is specially tuned to suit the lighter weight of young trail riders – Kids Tuned. This gives it a particularly responsive feel and ensures top performance on the trail.

Shock absorbers for maximum trail performance – Kids Tuned
The Manitou Mara shock, with 125 mm of travel, is perfectly tailored to the low body weight of young riders – Kids Tuned. It responds with exceptional sensitivity, offering efficient, finely controlled damping and progressive suspension, whilst ensuring outstanding traction, control and comfort on technical trails, fast descents and jumps.
The 29er principle combined with lightweight wheels
With the VPACE 29er concept, we use large wheels across all model sizes. For example, a child who is 120 cm tall can already ride our Moritz24, which has 24-inch wheels. With other manufacturers, however, it would be a 20-inch bike. Why does this make sense? Because larger wheels roll more efficiently, offer a smoother ride and clear obstacles more easily. Combined with our 1,300-gramme VPACE SL wheels featuring Duke Lucky Star rims, young mountain bikers benefit from significantly better acceleration, greater efficiency and improved safety – whether on the trail, on tours or in races. They can be easily converted to tubeless on request.

Scope of application
The Moritz24 is a Category 3 mountain bike and is therefore ideally suited to rough trails, unpaved paths and technically challenging terrain. Jumps and drops of up to 60 cm are no problem, provided you have the right riding technique. The Moritz24 children’s full-suspension bike has been designed for a rider weight of up to 45 kg.
The perfect size
The chart shows a recommendation based on body height. However, depending on your riding style, body proportions or personal preferences, a smaller or larger model may also be suitable. Simple adjustments, such as a longer or shorter stem, a different seatpost or the position of the saddle, allow you to tailor the bike perfectly to your needs.
