Features

Our first lightweight disc wheelset draws on our many years of experience with disc brakes. Thanks to the 400-gram aluminium rim – a first for a 30 mm rim depth – we can offer a reliable and versatile disc wheelset for road, cyclo-cross and gravel – lovingly hand-built.

With an outer width of 22.6 mm and a modern, wide rim width of 19 mm, it can be used with tyres ranging from 23 to 45 mm – size matters!

Thanks to the taller 30 mm profile, the rim still has an elegant appearance without looking out of place on modern aero frames. Thanks to the lightweight and stiff blade spokes, aerodynamic benefits are even possible at higher speeds.

Number of spokes

We recommend determining the number of spokes based on the intended use and rider’s weight – we’d be happy to advise you on this. For really tough cyclocross riding and for heavier riders, the 32-hole version should be chosen.

Our VPACE SL hubs

We have been successfully offering and using our VPACE hubs for many years. They feature four high-quality Enduro industrial bearings with excellent sealing for all-weather use and are compatible with all axle standards – but are only available in black.
