Trail-optimised cockpit

The lightweight handlebars from VPACE, with a 25° rise, combined with the 35 mm-long stem from Reverse, ensure safe and controlled handling in every riding situation. Shifting is handled by a smooth-operating SRAM GX Eagle Trigger shifter, whilst braking is provided by the reliable Magura MT Trail Sport 4-piston disc brake with 180/160 mm rotors. The 1-finger HC aluminium brake levers can be perfectly adjusted to fit smaller children’s hands and offer precise control and maximum braking power with minimal effort.

Smooth-shifting gearbox with a wide gear ratio range

Whether riding steeply uphill or fast downhill – with the robust SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed rear derailleur, young riders can change gears precisely, smoothly and reliably, whatever the terrain. Thanks to the wide gear range of the 10–50 cassette, the right gear is always available in every situation, ensuring the riding fun never falls by the wayside.

Lightweight aluminium frame with a single-pivot rear suspension and enduro geometry

The lightweight Moritz frame, made from 6061 aluminium, has been specially developed for young riders: with tube dimensions suited to children, a low weight and a robust construction for full trail performance. The modern enduro geometry, with a flat head angle (65°) and short rear end, ensures agility and flow off-road, as well as maximum fun on the descents. The Moritz275 features a lightweight, low-maintenance single-pivot suspension system with a Flex Seatstay System. The latter enhances comfort and traction on technical trails thanks to flexible seat stays. Thanks to the special ‘Kids Tuned’ suspension shock tuning and a cleverly positioned pivot point, the rear suspension system operates very sensitively, efficiently and without interfering with pedalling. This makes the Moritz perfectly suited to longer uphill rides as well.

A child-friendly crank. Powerful and clever.

We have specifically designed the lightweight VPACE SL children’s crankset to suit the anatomy of young riders with narrower hips. With a Q-factor of 150 mm, it allows for a natural leg position, resulting in greater efficiency when pedalling and noticeably better power transfer. Thanks to the 3-hole direct mount, changing the chainring is a matter of seconds. And because the crank length also has a major influence on power transfer and efficiency, we tailor it to the specific model size.

The right seat height at the touch of a button for greater safety and more fun on the slopes

With the Kind Shock Dropper seatpost, you can easily lower the saddle height as required using a remote lever on the handlebars, thereby improving safety on descents. Ideal for technical terrain featuring technical sections, tight bends, steep drops and ledges.

High-performance FOX suspension fork

The high-performance Fox 34 Rhythm suspension fork offers maximum comfort and control off-road. With 140 mm of travel, it performs excellently even for very light riders. This gives it a particularly responsive feel and ensures top performance on technical trails, challenging descents and jumps.

Shock absorbers for maximum trail performance – Kids Tuned Suspension

The fitted Fox Float Performance shock, with 130 mm of travel, is perfectly tailored to the low body weight of young trail riders – Kids Tuned Suspension. It responds with exceptional sensitivity, offers efficient, finely controlled damping and progressive suspension, and ensures outstanding traction, control and comfort on technical trails, fast descents and jumps.

The 29er principle combined with lightweight wheels

With the VPACE 29er concept, we use large wheels across all model sizes. For example, a child who is 140 cm tall can already ride our Moritz275 with 27.5-inch wheels. With other manufacturers, however, it would be a 26-inch bike. Why does this make sense? Because larger wheels roll more efficiently, offer a smoother ride and clear obstacles more easily. Combined with our 1,500-gram VPACE SL wheels featuring Duke Lucky Star rims, young mountain bikers benefit from significantly better acceleration, greater efficiency and improved safety – whether on the trail, on tours or in races. They can be easily converted to tubeless on request.

Our children’s bikes can be ridden for two years from the start of the recommended size range and accommodate a growth of approximately 15 cm. Once the seat post and stem have been adjusted, this can be extended to 20 cm.

The perfect size

The chart shows a recommendation based on body height. However, depending on your riding style, body proportions or personal preferences, a smaller or larger model may also be suitable. Simple adjustments, such as a longer or shorter stem, a different seatpost or the position of the saddle, allow you to tailor the bike perfectly to your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

VPACE Kids Bikes are sporty bicycles and components designed specifically for children, setting new standards in quality, performance and design:

  • Lightweight
  • Well-thought-out, child-specific geometry
  • Larger wheels thanks to the 29er principle
  • Top-quality components from renowned manufacturers
  • Good value for money
  • Low actual running costs due to the high resale value

On the one hand, you can really put our bikes through their paces at our Test Centre partners and experience the VPACE ‘aha’ moment; and on the other hand, you can visit our showroom in Horgenzell, where you can view all our kids’ bikes and even take them for a test ride.

Your bike will arrive in a box, fully pre-assembled, perfectly adjusted and ready to go. All you need to do is take the bike out of the box and carry out the following final assembly steps yourself:

  1. Straighten the handlebars
  2. Fit the front wheel
  3. Adjust the saddle to the correct height
  4. Screw on the pedals
The right frame size depends primarily on height and inseam. To do this, measure your child’s height without shoes and determine their inseam (inside leg length)

1. Measure height

To determine height, have your child stand barefoot, upright with their back against a wall. Now place a book horizontally on their head and measure the distance from the floor to the bottom edge of the book.

2. Measure the inseam

To determine the inseam, have your child stand barefoot, upright with their back against a wall, clamp a book between their legs and pull it upwards into their crotch with the top edge horizontal. Now measure the distance from the floor to the top edge of the book. The length you’ve measured is your child’s inseam.

3. Determining the right bike size / frame size

As well as height, inseam length also plays an important role in determining the right bike size/frame size. To ensure your child can ride safely, their inseam length should be at least equal to the standover height of the selected size.

Super Bike

Tire pressure

First of all - the bike is rad and my 11y old son got much faster and more confident on it! Happy! Just one question: what tire pressure would you suggest for that 30kg skinny boy? He rides provided Nobby Nics in a tubeless setup, both natural trails, and bike parks, including rock gardens.

Vielen Dank ans VPACE-Team
